Get Involved

We need your help. There are several ways that you can get involved to help DCV achieve the goals it has undertaken.

Contact DCV today or visit our Events Page to find out about community, statewide and national DCV events.

Host a DCV Living Room Event* run by a DCV Representative in your home, town hall, local coffee shop or place of worship. By inviting your friends, family, neighbors and members of your community you will help to spread the vital mission of DCV. Living Room Events are a key tactic of the DCV strategy and are designed to highlight the threats America faces from radical Islam and the explosive nature of Islamic Jihad. The Living Room Events give participants an opportunity to express their opinions and ask questions in a secure and supportive setting.

Become a DCV Team Leader* in your community. DCV Team leaders* are those individuals that wish to dedicate more time to the mission of DCV. Responsibilities include:

  • Hosting and Running DCV Living Room Events as mandated by the guidelines of DCV
  • Contacting and coordinating individuals to generate support of DCV events
  • Assisting with coordination of DCV sponsored public events and forums when necessary
  • Generating broad awareness of the mission of DCV
  • Assisting DCV staff with various tasks when needed

Attend DCV Public Events* that will include nationally recognized leaders and experts who support the mission and goals of DCV.

Write letters to the editor of local newspapers and to Vermont's congressional leaders in support of the goals of DCV:

Contact Senator Patrick Leahy

Support the Vermont National Guard and the members of America's Armed Services and their families. DCV plays a leading role in Vermont in supporting those that keep America safe.

Honor and Recognize the sacrifices made by those defending our freedom and our homeland. The sacrifices made by those defending our freedom and our homeland by acknowledging their contributions at our public events and building awareness of the charitable organizations that have been formed to support them. DCV attends and sponsors memorial services of those fallen while serving their country and never fails to recognize that those fallen heroes gave of their lives to protect our right to freedom.

Your active commitment and support is essential to securing our homeland, our traditions, and our way of life.
